The 45th World skills Competition will be held from 22nd to 27th August,2019 in Kazan,the Republic of Tatarstan. The competition is to be held in a brand-new avenue and now is ready for completion.There is an athletes village built nearby enables competitors,experts,and personnel from all the member countries to exchange and share experiences in a well-equipped and conductive environment.
Participants and visitors of the 2019 Kazan world skills competition will take the lead in using a new dedicated exhibition center next to Kazan airport.With a total area over 75,000 square meters,Kazan world expo international exhibition center will have three exhibition halls with access to the airport.Around 1,500 competitors, 1,500 experts,and 250,000 visitors are expected in 2019 Kazan world skills competition.The venue is located in a densely populated area and is only 20-30 minutes away by public transport from the city center.The core of the Kazan expo is a modern conference hall which can accommodate more than 3,000 people. There are 35 muti-functional conference hall which can accommodate 30-500 people.Around 10,000 square meter”future technology area”with “smart city”concept will showcase the forefront thinking in the industries of agriculture ,energy, ecology and mobile robot .transportation.Meanwhile,this area will enable the industry leader ,government officials,and any other people that are interested to learn the skills changes could brought in the near future.On the occasion,competition for the age between 14 to 16 years old will be held together by “worldskills Juniors”featuring the UVA operation and mobile robot competition item.
There are 56 competition items in 2019 45th world skills competition in which 5 new items are added: cloud computing,network security,chemical laboratory technology,water treatment technology,hotel reception.
It is the forth time that china participated in WSC as of 2017.Our athletes competed in 47 items and won 15 gold medals, 7 silver medals,8 bronze medals and twelve outstanding prizes, made the best performance ever before. Songbiao, the athlete of Industrial machinery installation and adjustment competition,won the Albert prize with maximum points.
The 45th world skills competition will be kicked off after 258 days,Vcom, will as always provide support and wish Chinese competitor the great performance.
