China and Romania exchanged information network cabling skills

In July 2024, Vcom Education , Guangdong Industry Polytechnic University (GIPU), and WorldSkills Romania conducted a splendid skills exchange on Information Network Cabling project of WorldSkills Competition. This exchange not only witnessed technical cooperation between the two countries but also exemplified cross-cultural communication.
During this event, technical staff from Vcom, faculty and students from GIPU, and Dr. Cornel Barbut, Vice President of the Romanian Fiber Optic Association (FOA), explored cutting-edge technologies and practical experiences in information network cabling. Mr. Barbut, representing the Romanian FOA, led the Romanian team to showcase their leading technologies in fiber optic communications.
Throughout the exchange, all three parties not only shared their best practices but also delved into discussions on tackling challenges and finding solutions in different environments. Mihail Cazacu, the official delegate from WorldSkills Romania, expressed his desire to strengthen cooperation with WorldSkills China and Vcom Education. Stefan-Mario Stan, the competitor of the 47th WorldSkills Competition in Romania, demonstrated his outstanding performance in the information network cabling competition, showcasing achievements in skill enhancement and innovative applications alongside Vcom Education and GIPU.
This skills exchange profoundly underscored the importance and value of international skills exchanges. Participants gained advanced technical concepts and practical operational experience, deepening their understanding of global technological trends. This exchange holds significant guidance for the future development of information technology education and training between the two countries.
As the skills exchange concluded, both sides reached consensus on further deepening cooperation, planning to enhance exchanges and collaboration in future technical training and skills competitions. This event not only promoted exchanges and cooperation in information network cabling technology between Chinese and Romanian educational institutions but also built a new bridge for the cultivation and exchange of global skills talents.
