China’s First National Training Program on Intelligent Security Technology Concludes in Hangzhou

Hangzhou, China — August 1, 2025 — The first national technical training program on Intelligent Security Technology, a newly added skill competition for the 48th WorldSkills Competition, successfully concluded after five days at Hangzhou Technician College. The program brought together more than 80 teachers and students representatives from over 30 institutions across the country for an intensive learning and exchange event focused on the latest developments in smart security.
The training program centered on the core content of the new skill of WorldSkills Competition “Intelligent Security Technology,” covering a wide range of modules including theoretical instruction, hands-on practice, and collaborative project training. The curriculum was designed to combine a strong theoretical foundation with practical reinforcement. Participants gained key knowledge and operational skills in areas such as video surveillance systems and intrusion alarm systems, while also strengthening teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
During the closing session, Mr. Ma Xule, a technical engineer at VCOM highlighted that most participants had successfully mastered essential modules and demonstrated solid collaborative competence, providing a strong foundation for future skill enhancement and competition preparation.
Representing the participants, Mr. Chen Yaocheng, a teacher from Guangzhou Technician College, expressed appreciation to the organizers and instructors, noting that the training not only updated professional knowledge but also expanded perspectives on program development, giving new momentum to intelligent security talent cultivation.
At the closing ceremony, Mr. Song Peng, Director of China National Marketing at VCOM, summarized the week’s achievements and encouraged participants to integrate what they learned into both teaching and practice. He emphasized that this training should be seen as the beginning of ongoing cooperation and progress in intelligent security education and application.
